Our own rainbow

We had the UK premier in March 2012 to mark the launch of the Cultural Olympiad programme in the region. It consisted of seven parallel beams of high specification laser light, representing the spectrum of the traditional seven colours of the rainbow, and is designed to be projected across large open sites, from its site near St. Mary’s Island whose lighthouse can be seen on the right.
