A new tug and a drive up the river

The brand-new, suitably named, tug ‘Svitzer Tyne’ arrived today fresh from it’s Turkish builders. I had a drive up to see the new crane at Neptune Yard, but they are replacing the bridge at Benton Way so a drive to Walker was needed to get a peep between buildings, it doesn’t look all that impressive for 700 tonnes lift. It wasn’t all wasted time as Normand Oceanic is on the river at A&P and that is bigger than I expected.
